Screenplay Synopsis

Two hot young women, Samantha and Patricia party at a trendy nightclub. When Patricia leaves with a cute guy Samantha calls for a ride using the Rock-n-Ride ridesharing app. Samantha is picked up and falls asleep and when she wakes up the car is parked in a dark alley. The driver grabs a set of handcuffs and a knife and drags her into the darkness.

The next day we meet the team behind the Rock-n-Ride app Julia is the whip smart sexy CEO, Lorraine is the nerdy programmer, Naomi is the artsy, tattooed graphic designer. And Julia's father, Reginald, is the seasoned business veteran who's mentoring Julia and trying to help them raise capital.

Rock-n-Ride is on the verge of financial collapse, so Reginald introduces Julia to an eccentric billionaire who's looking to invest in a ridesharing company. When he makes inappropriate sexual advances towards Julia, she knees him in the balls and storms out.

Meanwhile, the police discover Samantha's body and realize the killer wanted the police to know the victim was a Rock-n-Ride user. Someone wants to destroy Rock-n-Ride. They go to the Rock-n-Ride team to get their help solving the crime. Julia puts the full force of her team into helping the police solve the crime.

As the story progresses we meet a series of suspicious Rock-n-Ride drivers Billy, a strange kid who Julia knew in highschool and seems oddly familiar with what Julia's been doing the last decade Rohan, a tech blogger with a history of destroying tech companies with his scathing articles and a seemingly inside knowledge of the recent murders and Chip, a middle-aged self proclaimed Don Juan who thinks the new sharing economy is destroying the middle class.

More murders occur and the police become increasingly frustrated. With the help of Julia and her team, they set a trap for the killer but aren't able to snare him.

The murderer starts to kill the Rock-n-Ride team one by one. Julia must figure out who the killer is before he destroys the company and kills her, too.

The Rideshare Killer is a sexy, mystery thriller with a modern technology edge. It's Scream meets The Social Network with a host of sexy young technologists. Julia, the protagonist and many of the other leads offer great roles for women.
